Your files mostly stay on your device.

For standard operations (generating folder trees, manual renaming), all processing happens directly in your browser using client-side technology. We do not upload your files to our servers for these basic tasks.

If you choose to use our "Smart Rename" or "Verify/Fix Structure" features, snippets of your data (folder structures or filename lists) are securely transmitted to our AI provider (OpenAI via Cloudflare Workers) for processing.

• Transient Processing: Data sent to the AI is used solely to generate the requested output and is not stored or used to train models.
• Privacy Mode: Our Bulk Renamer offers a "Privacy Mode" that anonymizes filenames before sending them to the AI, ensuring your sensitive file names are never exposed.

We use Local Storage technology to enhance your experience. This allows us to:

• Remember your "Dark Mode" preference.
• Save your custom Renaming Patterns locally.
• Remember if you have dismissed our banners.

We do not use invasive tracking cookies or sell your browsing data to third parties.

You have the right to request information about how your data is processed. Since we do not maintain user accounts or store personal files on our servers, we hold very little, if any, personal data about you.
